Teaching drawn from practice

Masterclasses, workshops, talks and lectures, taught by someone who still performs and records for a living.

One practice, three ways to learn from it

Everything taught here has been used somewhere first: on a stage, in a studio, or in a room of thirty people who had never played before. The explanation arrives after the sound rather than instead of it.

The three formats differ by who is in the room. A masterclass is for a musician working on their own playing. A workshop is for a group who need to do something together. A talk is for an audience who need to understand something. The material underneath is the same practice.

The rhythms the teaching is built on. An excerpt from Woup Dance.

Every engagement

What every engagement includes

Whichever service you book, these do not change.

  • A real conversation first

Before any quote, a conversation about what you actually need, including an honest no, and a pointer elsewhere, when this is not the right fit.

  • Everything in writing

Scope, dates, deliverables, fee and rights confirmed in a written proposal before work starts. No verbal understandings.

  • A reply within two working days

From a person, not an autoresponder, including when the answer is that we are not available.

  • One point of contact

The person you speak to at enquiry is the person who does the work. Nothing is handed to an account manager.

Talk it through

Describe who is in the room and what you want them to leave with, and we will tell you which of these fits.

Or email info@tebuspace.com, replies within two working days.
