The whole space
Four strands, one practice. They overlap on purpose. What a workshop reveals changes a record, and a conversation recorded after a gig becomes the next talk.

TebuSpace is not four products with a shared logo. It is one practice, making music, teaching it, recording the conversations around it, and doing all of that with other people in the room. That practice is described from four angles so you can come in at whichever one you were actually looking for.
Every strand below continues somewhere else on the site. This page exists to say what each one is before you commit a click to it.

Stories
Stories are at the heart of TebuSpace. Explore Stories is a place to listen to the experiences, ideas and memories that shape people, communities and cultures.
From artists speaking about their creative practice to personal journeys across countries and generations, these stories offer more than information. They create a space for understanding, reflection and connection.
Here, you will find artist stories, life experiences, cultural stories, diaspora journeys, interviews, documentaries, podcasts and personal reflections. Some stories may begin with a song, a photograph or a creative project; others may come from everyday experiences, migration, identity, community or the search for belonging. Together, they create a living record of different perspectives and ways of seeing the world.
TebuSpace welcomes stories that are personal, cultural, creative and sometimes difficult to define. We are interested in what happens behind the finished work, what influences an artist's choices, how culture changes as it travels, and how individual experiences can reveal something about wider communities and society. Explore Stories is a space to listen closely, ask questions, share knowledge and discover the human experiences behind the culture and creativity we encounter.
- Artist stories, life experiences and cultural stories
- Diaspora journeys, interviews and documentaries

Strand 03
Podcasts
The TebuSpace Podcasts space is a place to slow down, listen and explore the stories, ideas and experiences behind music, creativity and community.
Through Sonic Rituals, we explore the relationship between music, African rhythms, improvisation, creativity and wellbeing, bringing together artistic practice, lived experience and research. Behind the Composition takes listeners into the creative process, looking at how a piece of music begins, develops and takes shape through rhythm, memory, place, emotion and experimentation.
Conversations brings musicians, artists, researchers, educators and cultural practitioners together to exchange ideas and speak openly about music, culture, creativity and life. Community Voices gives people the opportunity to share their experiences in their own words, creating space for conversations around culture, identity, belonging, community and everyday life. Creative Journeys looks at the paths artists and creatives take, exploring the places, people, experiences, challenges and discoveries that shape their creative identity.
Together, these podcasts form a space for listening, questioning, sharing and learning, connecting artistic expression with human experience, community knowledge and deeper conversations about the world we live in.

Tebu, The Unboxed Musician
Artist, composer, producer, performer and educator. Tebu is a Cameroonian-born, UK-based musician whose work moves between African, Afro-Latin, jazz, contemporary and global musical traditions.
A multi-instrumentalist working with piano, bass, percussion, handpan and vibraphone, Tebu sees music as a space for exploration, connection and transformation. His work is shaped by decades of composing, performing, teaching and collaborating across cultures.
The Unboxed Musician is his creative philosophy: curiosity over conformity, collaboration over isolation and experimentation over convention. His page carries the music, the films, the projects and the three ways to work with him.
